I developed two murals for Doktor Faustus, an exhibition of murals which depicts the novel Doktor Faustus by Thomas Mann on the walls of W139. Some of the other painters were a.o. Dick Tuinder, Gijs Assman, Gijs Frieling and Natasja Kensmil.

Visual interpretation of the chapter of Thomas Mann's novel Doktor Faustus in which Wendel Kretschmar lectures on music, and Beethoven in particular. Mann draws a parable between Beethoven’s influence on classical music and the influence the nazi regime had on German culture at large.

Visual interpretation of the chapter of Thomas Mann's novel Doktor Faustus in which the Paris-based Jewish agent Saul Fittelberg tries to get the talented composer Leverkühn to come to Paris to make money composing popular music. This is the last attempt to seduce the composer by the devil.
